They part, but promise always to be friends,
While scheming how to satisfy their spite.
Precisely planning two unpleasant ends,
They mould their mischief, morning, noon and night.
The husband hatches quite a ruthless ruse,
Involving so much dynamite and doom
It guarantees a story on the news,
A catastrophic, bunker-busting BOOM.
More subtle are the secrets of the wife,
Who picks a purely poisonous approach,
But hedges half her bets to buy a knife,
And hires herself a crazy killing coach.
A change of heart. They reconcile with sex,
But, falling off the bed, they break their necks.
