My first experiments with AI-created music were a couple of years ago, when I converted some of my already-written poems into songs, with a few small edits to add a chorus here and there. At that time the results were okay, but I was never really happy with the process and with what I was able to create.
However, the process has been vastly improved over those two years, so I’ve recently started to write new, original songs, not based on any previous poetry, and the results have been far better than expected. I’m about to start to share some of them here.
To be clear, I personally write every word of the lyrics, without AI involvement, but then I use AI to create the music around them. I’m not a musician, but I listen to a lot of music, and now I can listen to the words I write, sung how I’d like to hear them.
